The "Captain" and his "Mystic Krewe" are back again to invade the city! As we gear up to celebrate with the rest of the landlubbers, here's a great local guide to all things Gasparilla!
Parade of Pirates
For the 101st invasion, 500 pirates aboard 90 floats are ready to invade Tampa Bay for the annual Gasparilla Pirate Festival this Saturday, January 28th. The Jose Gasparilla sets sail at 11:30 a.m. and the parade will last from 2:00 - 5:30 p.m. The Parade of Pirates is the third largest annual parade - 350,000 people in attendance last year! As usual, the event is free but you can pay for reserved seating at gasparillatreasures.com
